Do you remember songs from your childhood that you really couldn't stand, mostly because they were played a million times a day? I do. One of them is Sailing, by Christopher Cross.
I would cringe every time it came on. Now, that same song makes me smile. It brings back a lot of good memories on my uncle's boat. He has passed, but every time I hear it, I think of him.
So, I was really glad to find this backdrop from Fashiowl at the Happy Weekend sale. I realize it's not a "sail" boat. But, close enough. It's a purple boat with all kinds of props and poses. Every nook and cranny has great opportunities for pics.
That said, the poses didn't work for me. I'm way too picky in every life. So, I grabbed a pose from one of their other cool sets. The other thing I wish they did was make it unlinkable so I could rearrange things. No biggie. I still managed to get a lot in.
The yummy watermelon smoothie is by ChicChica from the Saturday Sale. I love their props. I think I buy one every single weekend. They always work perfectly, with little to no editing. This needed none.
My outfit. The cute short set is by Off-Line. There were a bunch of color options. I decided that I would skip the purple and go with a rose color. I love it.
My only complaint is the way the items were displayed made it seem like the set came together. That wasn't the case, so it doubled the price of what I thought it was. It's super cute, so it's all good.
I seem to be complaining a lot today. In both lives.
