Here we are. The last night of summer, as rl kiddo returns to school in the morning. Back to teenager morning hell. I know I'm gonna want to stay in bed for sure. I wish my room is as cute as this lil shabby chic one in sl.
So, I bought the skybox backdrop by Tropix a while back. It's a really cute little pink room with floor to ceiling windows. You can't see in this pic, but it wasn't really possible to get it all in. I sure did pack in a lot, though.
The bedroom set, including most of the props is by Bee Designs. I got it off the Happy Weekend sale list. It's adorable. So much is included. It's unlinked, so if you don't like the way it's setup, you can customize. I didn't add or move much. Shabby. Chic. Ok.
The privacy screen is by Tuesdays. I got it from the SOS sale. There were two packs. I picked the "neutrals" pack. The screen comes in two colors. I chose white. The floral pattern is part of a pretty extensive hud. All the designs were beautiful. Totally shabby.
The hanging candle lantern is by What Next. It comes in a pack that also has floor lanterns. The candles come in pink, plain, or lilac. The flame can be turned on or off. I think it looks great in this room. Shabby, right?
Now to me. I really love this hair I got from Sintiklia off the Happy Weekend list. It's a fun updo with a few style options, included. A great deal for $60. Join the Sintiklia group for free, wear the tag, and it's only $51. They offer group discounts on every purchase and have a ton of freebies too. Not too shabby.
My outfit. Kind of simple, but it filled the shabbiness bill. If you are as old as me, your mom may have dressed you in Garanimals when you were a kid. Mine did. Everything mixed and matched. I'm many moons older now, and still, my sister and I always look like we're in Granimals. This pic looks like a garanimal exploded.
The top was a freebie by Vagrant. Their stuff is always so cute. I didn't notice until after I finished, but I wore it before. However, it looks shabby, in a chic way. I had to. The pants, also free, are by Addams. They are cute leggings that come in a fatpack. They are just chic.
Last, but not least, is the sleeping kitty by Chez Moi. Yes, I realize I used it in the last shoot, but like the top, it just worked to well not to use it. Plus, I love to add kitties anywhere I can.
