So, my rl kiddo broke her acrylic nail when loading up our car for a rafting trip. It actually peeled off her real nail. So, instead of the river, we were at Urgent Care, where they peeled the rest of her nail off and sent her on her way, with directions not to go in any water for two weeks.
Yeah, the last two weeks of summer. I'm so pissed. Like wtf? School starts next week. Our end of summer plans are no longer, so I've got a lot more time for sl.
This shoot utilizes a pose I got last week from Luane's, that I picked up at last week's Fly By Friday sale. It's one of her beautiful nature poses, complete with tons of props. They are linked together, but for this pose, I unlinked them and was able to deconstruct, then reconstruct the pose.
Since my huge dome of endless gardens is no more, I had to improvise. I go this great 2 prim tex changing dome from MP. It's got day and night skies, as well as ground textures, that couldn't be customized. I really liked them, but wanted more. So, I got a small round platform, to load textures, linked it up, and now my dome is really versatile.
For this pose, I created a meadow and it really made my vision come alive.
The outfit. The pants are from Vagrant. They come in a fatpack called warmth, with some great summer textures. The floral embroidery really worked for my meadow pose. The top is from ChicModa. It's a really cute cropped top in a soft pink color. It worked great with the pants.
The shoes are from Pink Cream Pie. They are also a very soft pink and worked for a day in a meadow.
The hair that I've worn before is by Magika. It's got a fatpack hud with lots of colors and the ability to wear it with short or long braids. I love their creations. Ever since my first avi's incarnation, I've been a loyal customer.
I'm off to the local rose garden park for some dry outdoor activity.
