I wish I lived near a beach. I don't. I live in the city. There are a few beaches here and there, but honestly, they're pretty gross. When I want a beach, I head to the Oregon Coast, what Oregonians call the beach.
However, the "beach" here is nothing like any beach back east. It's cold, windy, often rainy, rarely warm. It's beautiful, but it's no Jamaica. I want tropical. Can't afford a plane ticket here, but in SL, anything is possible.
Let's get to it.
Like I said in my last post, I hit up
Hair Fair the other day. I picked up four different styles. Bought this beautiful hair from the Vanity booth. It's just gorgeous. I got it in the Browns Pack because I like brown hair, I guess. I'll have more info on Hair Fair in my next post.
The outfit. The bikini is by Dirty Princess. I picked it up a while back from a Happy Weekend sale, I believe. I love it. It's got all the sparkle and bling that I require. The shoes are from aDiva and I got them on MP. The are a great shade of gold that I just loved with my bikini.
The jewelry. My necklace is by Kunglers. I like the detail and the colors worked great with my bikini. The body chains are by Tetra. They come in two pieces, a bralette and a waist chain. I am wearing both, of course.
The earrings are a gift from No Match. They come in a fatpack and worked well with the hair. They aren't hidden, and aren't cutting through. The rings are both by Vibing. I seem to have a lot of their jewelry. They always have something cool during weekend sales. Can't pass up a deal.
The sunglasses are from Majesty. I purchased them in crystal and black. These are the crystal ones. They come in different metals and an option for white or black lenses. I've worn them before and I'll wear them again. I love them.
My nails are by Shey. I got them on MP ions ago and were a pretty good deal. They have a great hud, with pretty metallic textures.
The scene. I bet you thought I hit up another beautiful beach sim for this picture. Nope. It's that photo studio I dumped many Lindens on. I found the background texture online and loaded it in. Perfect. no weird curve of the background.
I added the palm tree by Anna Erotica. I swear, my domes are both full of their stuff. Cheap and low prim, yet really detailed. I hit them up whenever I need any sort of landscaping. I never leave empty handed.
The rocks are from Bird Next Door on MP. They're only 1 LI and cost $2! Yay! The plant is by TM Creations, which is very pretty. Got it on MP, also. $10 and 1 prim. I'm great at finding a deal, in all lives. The only thing that cost more are the shells by Shay's. They come in different clusters at 1 prim each. Adorable.
All in all, I was successful in creating the scene that I pictured in my head. It's not all good, though. I can't figure out why it's so blurry. Sorry about that. I shouldn't have gone with these. But, I did.
