Pride. What a beautiful month. So many bright colors and amazing humans who have endured so much, and can finally be open and show their pride. Being GenX, in the 80's, it was a whole different world.
As a matter of fact, my daughter came out to me this year. I didn't know, I didn't not-know. It never really mattered to me. All I want for both my kids is that they are happy and safe.
I'm so glad she feels comfortable now. She lives with her wonderful girlfriend and her life has totally turned around for the better.
So, of course, I was excited to visit the Pride events going on in SL. Pride at Home was filled with floats and vendors offering free gifts. That is where I got this cute purse.
Additionally, I went to a bunch of the stores offering Pride at Home specials, and picked up this cute tie-dye top.
Then, I headed to Pride Candyland. That is where I had the most fun. I felt like I was going to run into Willie Wonka. Of course, I found the ice cream shop, as I always do.
